Acting Classes Auckland, Youth Drama Classes

Drama is offered as a discipline in all of our Performing Arts classes. We teach vocal technique, character, scripted theatre and improvisation. Our classes have a strong focus on physical theatre and activities are designed to teach storytelling, nurture imagination and encourage self expression. We focus on drama in our performance training at every age level in our signature triple-threat classes. These classes are run all over Auckland for Junior, Intermediate and Senior students. Flying Monkey Theatre Company
Trains weekly at the beautiful Wellesley Studios in Auckland's CBD and specialises in ensemble work, scripted theatre, character, improvisation and most importantly, performance technique. Performance opportunities throughout the year include the Confidence Project mid-year show,, the end of year shows at the Bruce Mason Theatre and Due Drop Events Centre & Auckland's Santa Parade.  Formal NZ Speech & Drama qualifications available to students who want to extend further. Open age, auditioned.

We are so grateful to have found Pform who runs performing arts classes in our small town. My daughter has tried other extracurricular activities and didn't really fit in or thrive. Pform has an inclusive environment and it is heart-warming as a parent that my daughter has a sense of belonging and I was blown away at her confidence on stage at the end of year performance. The performing arts class and her tutor has really brought out the best of my child and I have nothing but positive things to say about it.

My daughter aged 7 and son aged 9 did the holiday program in Remuera with Pform, and both absolutely loved it. They were super engaged and buzzing when I picked them up. Great to find a creative program with a bunch of friendly staff!

Miss 10 simply loves Pform. We have been going for 2 years and her confidence has grown and grown. The shows are amazing and I love that we just pay and turn up, no making costumes or helping backstage and missing the show :) Miss 7 is looking forward to starting this year and following in her big sisters footsteps.

Ilaria loves the classes, she loves to Perform and her confidence is great to see. She is constantly singing songs and making up her own dance moves. The only negative if you can call it that is the length of the end of year shows and the timings - late Sunday afternoon/evenings with school the next day isn't ideal.

We first enrolled our son in drama classes 3 years ago because he was incredibly energetic and exuberant and we wanted to choose an after school activity that would embrace that and accept him for who he is. He absolutely loves the drama classes and we love seeing him so happy. You guys are all amazing, the leaders, the helpers, the admin staff, everyone. Thank you so much!!!
